ONE LINE

The Wee Pier is a calm fishing idle game: sit at the end of a stone pier on a
Scottish island and fish.

ABOUT 50 WORDS

The Wee Pier is a calm fishing idle game set on a stone pier on a Scottish
island. Bait the line and a fish bites on its own; your Reeling wears it down
and the quid roll in. Row out further, find new skills, and reach a real ending
in about an hour. Free in your browser.

DESCRIPTION (ABOUT 150 WORDS)

The Wee Pier is a calm fishing idle game. Sit at the end of a stone pier on a
Scottish island and fish.

Bait the line and a fish bites on its own. Your Reeling wears it down, it
lands, and the quid roll in. Row out further as the quid comes in, from the
Harbour Steps past the kelp to the Deep Channel and Beyond the Light, where the
fish are bigger and the finds are stranger.

Folk from the island pin notices on the board and hand you errands, whenever
suits. Rare finds give you Tales, spent on Lore that lasts, and in time three
hired hands fish beside you. There are eight skills to find and 53 fish and
oddities for the catch log. A real ending comes in about an hour; land the
Lamplighter and the summer ends, and you can start another with 13 new
catches.

Free to play in your browser, and coming to Steam with a free demo.

LONGER DESCRIPTION

Sit at the end of a stone pier on a Scottish island and fish.

Folk from the island pin notices on the board and hand you errands, whenever
suits. Rare finds give you Tales, which you spend on Lore that lasts. Boxes
stack up on the quay until the fish van comes for them, boats go by out in the
bay, and in time three hired hands fish beside you. Then something pale starts
moving out past the lighthouse.

FEATURES

- Eight skills. You start with three; the other five sit on the page as ???
until you find them. Pin one to practise and it levels by itself.
- Each skill has its own kit that gets better as the skill levels, and a star
every ten levels with a perk on it.
- Four fishing spots and 53 fish and oddities for the catch log, from shore
crabs to a ship's bell and a St Kilda mailboat
- A Pier board with errands and 31 notices from the folk of the island, none
  of them with a deadline
- Tales from rare finds, spent on ten nodes of Lore
- Morag, Calum and Angus (and his collie) to fish beside you
- The Bait tin keeps fishing while you're away, and when you come back the
pier tells you what the line landed and what's waiting for you
- Another summer: land the Lamplighter and the summer ends. Bring home Sea
Glass from what you caught and found, spend it on the net, and start
Summer 2 with 13 new catches.
- Seals, otters, puffins, gannets and the odd passing drizzle
- Fills wide screens, with a fullscreen button on phones
